What is coaching?
Executive Coaching is a results oriented process that helps an individual meet established goals. This process is designed to help people focus on what’s important in their professional and personal lives that will result in desired, sustainable change and improved performances. The client chooses the content and focus of each conversation, while the coach asks questions, listens, makes observations and provides guidance and feedback. The coach helps to provide clarity while moving the client towards actions that help them attain their goals. Coaching helps a client get from where they are now to where they need to be.

Methodology

  • Initial meeting to determine if there is a fit between executive and coach
  • Subsequent meeting to discuss overall plans and activities to reach agreed upon goals
  • Coach will suggest assessment activities that may include a variety of tools including a 360 feedback instrument and/or face to face interviews with Managers, Subordinates and Peers to gather additional insights, perspectives and feedback
  • Coach and executive determine frequency of meetings and successful outcome expectations
  • In individual sessions, the coach asks questions, listens, makes observations and provides guidance and feedback
  • Executive and Coach assess direction and adjust goals on a regular basis
